Scott Paskewitz, the owner of Scott's Painting & Staining Inc. began painting trim work for friends and family in 1986.
The trim work progressed into entire houses, and soon by word of mouth a few houses a year turned into a dozen homes a year.
In May of 1991 Scotts Painting and Staining Inc. was founded.
Year after year the number of satisfied customers continues to rise.   Click here to view our references page.
Hundreds of homes have been restored in since 1991.
Because of the growing need to repair and replace rotted siding and windows, Scott's Painting and Staining Inc. quickly migrated into this niche market.  There are many painting contractors that have tried to fill this niche, however unlike Scott's Painting where we employ both paint and carpenter tradesmen, most companies try to use unqualified painters to perform both trades.  Click here for more information on siding replacement.
Currently Scott's Painting & Staining Inc. is the only Omaha based company which specializes in siding replacement and painting while employing craftsmen from both trades.  This saves the homeowner in 3 different ways:
  1. TIME is saved because you do not have to search for two different contractors.
  2. MONEY is saved because you will not be paying a second contractor a minimum payment (for small jobs).
  3. REWORK is avoided because the installation and preparation will be done properly the first time, prior to painting.  Additionally you will not have to wait weeks between the wood being replaced and the house being painted.
